We are a high school from Turkey, Istanbul and our school is both a religious vocational and science project school. It's a special kind of school that only the students who can get high points from exam can study here. It is located in Bayrampaşa where you have the chance to reach every important place in Istanbul, because it is in a central place and near the biggest and central coach station of


Istanbul.

Our motto is "Per aspera ad astra", a latin expression which means that though our studies are hard (aspera), we would like to reach important goals to reach the stars (astra).

Gymnázium Aloise Jiráska, the Czech grammar school

Gymnasium A. Jiráska in Litomyšl is one of the oldest grammar schools in the Pardubice region. There are about 350 students and 35 teachers. Studying at grammar school is aimed at students who would like to get high-quality comprehensive education and corresponding preparation for further studies. The school provides both four-year and eight-year study programmes and the emphasis is put on individual approach to students. As for languages, English language is compulsory for all students, the other choice can be German or French. There is a variety of optional seminars and languages including Russian, Japanese, Arts and History of Arts.

Poli, the Hungarian school

Közgazdasági Politechnikum Alternatív Gimnázium (Poli for short) is an independent, non-state secondary grammar school located in the Hungarian capital city, Budapest, educating about 500 students from the age of 12 to 20 by the lead of 45 teachers. It was founded in 1990 and is maintained by an NGO, Budapest Polytechnic Foundation, offering a comprehensive academic program supplemented with an entrepreneurial curriculum to students.

• Its aims are:
  • to provide a positive, democratic and friendly environment with various extra-curricular programs and opportunities for all students, including those with special needs and with foreign background in order to support their personal and professional development;
  • to develop their many-folded skills - humanities, sciences, foreign languages, ICT, sports, entrepreneurship;
  • to educate young people committed to solidarity, inclusion, thus actively contributing to a more tolerant society;
  • to foster their active citizenship and intercultural dialogue in Europe by organizing national and transnational partnership programs (school strategic partnerships, e-Twinning, youth exchanges, European Voluntary Service/European Solidarity Corps).
  We have students from different socio-economic backgrounds and students with special needs/educational difficulties as well - they follow a personal development plan with the lead of our psychologist and special education teachers. There is a small number of students with foreign backgrounds. We think all our students can profit from the diversity when learning tolerance and accepting cultural differences.

Vasileios Zormpas, the Greek school

The senior high school of Thesprotiko is located in Thesprotiko, Preveza. There are 70 students and
15 educators working in it. Students are 15-18 years old and they attend humanitarian subjects,
maths and science. A special characteristic of the school is that it "hosts" students that come from
mountainous villages of the area and as a result they have great difficulty in both transportation from
and to the school and in having access to outdoor activities. Specifically, a rather big amount of
students shows a great educational need due to their living conditions. This means that our students
live in remote villages with few residents without particular access to new technologies. The only way out of this limited living is our school and the opportunities it provides to them. What satisfies us is the fact that these students are always willing to participate in school activities. Specifically the school :
 -Has been a partner of the European paths E4/E6 of the Educational Environmental Center of
Maronia, Greece -Cooperates at a regular basis with various stakeholders such as local cultural
associations, Environmental centers, Geopark of Vikos – Aoos, ephorates of Antiquities of Ioannina
and Preveza.
 -Coordinates the Erasmus+ project KA219 “European Path (e)Motion” with code
number 2017-1-EL01-KA219-03615
 -Has participated twice in the Erasmus+ project KA1 “Together for Europe” in Poland -Participated in the Erasmus+ KA1 “Building a Contemporary, Inclusive, European Orientated School” with code number 2017-1-EL01-KA101-035575 The persons involved have the right skills and expertise. Specifically, an economics teacher, a religious teacher, a science teacher and an English language teacher take part in the program giving it a cross curricular dimension.

 

Lycée Bahuet, the french high school

                                      

About our school :

The Lycée Bahuet is a Catholic High School under contract with the State. It is located in Brive la Gaillarde (Corrèze) and belongs to the region called Nouvelle Aquitaine.

The Lycée BAHUET reflects perfectly the soul of the country and welcomes 650 students from the surrounding areas and 80 teachers. Founded in 1919 by Marguerite Bahuet as an institution for young ladies who trained for a trade, it has become a state-of-the-art school which educates boys and girls for the future.

Set on the outskirts of the town and close to the Caves of Saint Antoine, our Campus Nature gathers a vocational and technological high school and a higher education department. Our school provides a comprehensive and successful educational programme for everybody even a local unit for school inclusion and short specialized qualifications. The school offers a wide range of different subject areas like Trade, Health, Information Technology, Management, Tourism or Insurance to help students jump from school to local professional life.

The school specializes in foreign language learning (English, Spanish, German). Students improve their language skills (Bulats, BEC, Cervantes, TOEIC), enjoy school trips to major European capital cities or benefit from internships abroad to have the chance to get into the international sphere. Since September 2018, we have also been experiencing a two-year Erasmus+ project.
